Optimization of Energy Management Strategy for Fuel Cell Hybrid Electric Vehicles Based on Dynamic Programming

Fuel cell hybrid electric vehicles have attracted a large amount of attention in recent years owing to their advantages zero emissions, high efficiency and low noise. To improve the fuel economy system durability vehicles, this paper proposes an energy management strategy optimization method for based on dynamic programming. Rule-based dynamic-programming-based strategies are developed building cell/battery model. The rule-based is improved with power distribution scheme programming vehicle. Furthermore, limit rate change output added avoid load changes cell. simulation results show that equivalent 100 km hydrogen consumption rules reduced by 6.46% compared before improvement, limiting system, times reduced. Therefore, effectively improves vehicles.
